These solid wood art pieces are a line that is completely handmade with each and every component of the entire piece using solid hardwood. This includes the 16 hearts, the background behind the hearts, and the frame itself. Each piece in this line have a keyhole slot for easy hanging on the wall.
This specific wooden wall art is called "Box Of Hearts" #9, and was made by Colors Of The Wood. This piece was created using four species of wood - padauk, maple, cherry, and walnut. It features 16 uniquely patterned 2" hearts using two of the woods, all of the hearts are either walnut or padauk wood. No stains or dyes were used in the hearts, the background behind the hearts, or the frame, only the natural colors of the wood. The background of this particular piece has four columns of alternating cherry and maple wood that showcase the hearts designs. The frame features all four of the wood species.
