Our cutting boards are a beautiful piece of practical art for your kitchen or could make for a really cool gift! We strive for unique design, high quality, and high functionality as well.
This particular style cutting board was made with cherry wood on the top and bottom. In the center are 9 stripes of alternating maple and purpleheart wood. Maple is the light wood that is the thicker stripes and Purpleheart is the wood that is the thin stripes.
The woods are fused together using FDA approved, waterproof glue. All of our boards are finished with a proprietary blend of food grade mineral oil, beeswax, carnauba wax, and coconut oil. All of the colors of the wood you see are the natural colors of each wood, we do not use any stains or dyes. This cutting board is also equipped with four rubber feet to add protection, durability and serve as a non slip working surface being lifted off of the counter.
Please note that all items are completely handmade, therefore the actual item received may vary slightly in the appearance of the grain and color tone in relation to the woods shown in the photos.
